Why Axiyana

A young company, and specific about what that means

We are not going to claim a decade of history we do not have. This is what we can put behind every engagement instead.

  • Engineering-first, not sales-first

The person who scopes your project is the person who builds it. Nothing is promised in a meeting that has to be quietly renegotiated later.

  • Built for Sri Lanka, written for anywhere

VAT and SSCL handling, local payment gateways, and mobile-first performance — inside codebases that hold up to international review.

  • You own everything

Source code, deployment, and documentation transfer to you. No per-seat licence and no vendor sitting between you and your own data.

  • Honest about scope and timelines

We will tell you when a cheaper option would serve you better, when a deadline is not realistic, and when the right answer is not to build software at all.

Ready to configure

Systems we have already built

Rather than starting from zero, these are working systems we adapt to your business — both written for how things actually operate in Sri Lanka.

  • Point of Sale System

Multi-outlet retail POS with Sri Lankan VAT and SSCL handling built in, not bolted on.

    • VAT and SSCL calculated correctly. Sri Lankan tax is applied in the correct sequence at line and invoice level, with compliant receipt formats and exportable summaries for your accountant.
    • Keeps billing when the line drops. Terminals continue to sell offline and reconcile automatically once connectivity returns. A failed connection does not become a closed counter.
    • One stock picture across branches. Every outlet writes to the same inventory. Head office sees live stock by location instead of a spreadsheet emailed at the end of the week.

  • Learning Management System

A tutoring and institute LMS built for Sri Lankan A/L/O/L teaching, not adapted from a university platform.

    • Batches, not just courses. Students are organised by year, stream, and batch the way institutes actually run, with separate content, schedules, and fees per batch.
    • Recorded and live classes. Upload recordings or link live sessions, with view tracking so you know who actually watched and who only opened the page.
    • Past-paper practice online. Timed papers with MCQ auto-marking and structured-question upload, plus per-question analysis showing exactly where a class is weak.

Built in the open

How we work is the argument

We have no client testimonials to show you yet, and we are not going to invent any. What we can show you is the engineering practice behind every project — and you are welcome to ask us to demonstrate any of it.

  • Typed codebases

TypeScript in strict mode across the stack. Whole categories of runtime failure become build errors instead of a support call at month end.

  • Specifications before code

Requirements written to IEEE-standard SRS practice and signed off before development starts, so scope is a document rather than a memory.

  • Documented handover

Every project ends with the codebase, a deployment runbook, and an admin guide in your hands. You are never locked in by our absence.

  • Direct access to the engineers

You talk to the people writing your software, not to an account manager relaying messages. Founder-led means you can reach the top of the company.
